DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nBook discussion and signing.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nThe Harvard / MIT Coop happily announces the return of our IN-STORE Event Series.\nBased upon the generous and positive feedback we have received from our favorite authors, new friends, and our loyal customers, it’s time to bring back what we have missed so much……connectivity and discovery, in real life!\nNote: All attendees are required to wear masks. Attendance is limited and based on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise noted.\nThe End of Adolescence: The Lost Art of Delaying Adulthood.\nIs Gen Z resistant to growing up?\nA leading developmental psychologist and an expert in the college student experience debunk this stereotype and explain how we can better support young adults as they make the transition from adolescence to the rest of their lives.\nAbout the authors:\nNancy E. Hill, Ph.D. is a developmental psychologist and the Charles Bigelow Professor of Education at Harvard University. She is an expert in adolescent development, the transition to adulthood, and the roles of culture and context in shaping human development. She is the President of the Society for Research in Child Development and the 2019 recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Ernest R. Hilgard Award for Lifetime Contributions to Psychology.\nAlexis Redding. Ed.D. is the Faculty Co-Chair of Higher Education and a lecturer at The Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is an expert on college experience and teaches graduate courses on college student development, student affairs, and ethnography. In addition to her research and teaching, she has mentored students in both the United States and Europe for more than two decades.\nCommunity Connections Guidelines: We’re thrilled to finally be hosting author events again!\nBUT, the success of our series depends upon community cooperation.
