The mission of the East Longmeadow Public Library is to provide free and equal access to information, resources, and technology. Its purpose is to help educate and enrich our community in response to the intellectual, educational, and cultural needs and input of its patrons. The library offers an extensive variety of materials for study or enjoyment and supports literacy and life-long learning for its town residents.

  • The library collection consists of over 80,000 books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, music CDs, and audiobooks, as well as digital books and magazines.
  • New books and DVDs are located on the first floor of the library.
  • Audiobooks, music CDs, and public computers are located on the second floor.
  • The Children’s Room is on the first floor, as are the two meeting rooms.
  • Wireless access is available throughout the library.
