About the Friends of Leverett Library

The Friends of Leverett Library are active in supporting the Library in a variety of ways. According to the Bylaws, the group was organized to “maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries and to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs.” The group is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has been active since the early 1990s. We welcome new members.

A primary goal of the Friends is to augment the Library budget. We raise funds through an annual membership drive, donations, and fundraising activities such as the sale of tee shirts, tote bags, mugs, and puzzles, all with a Leverett identity.
