Other Info: The East Lexington Branch Library was closed to the public on August 21, 2007, after a serious flooding problem. A decision was made by the Trustees on September 18, 2007, to keep the Branch closed.

• As a trusted institution, the library serves as an important venue for challenging community conversations. We collaborate with individuals and groups to provide these opportunities, deepening connections among residents.
• Libraries are places to spend time in the company of others. Preschoolers attend storytime, meetings are held, questions are answered, and people of all ages come to socialize and study, read and reflect.
