Judith Frank, the Eliza J. Clark Folger Professor of English, talks about what it takes to succeed as a writer and touches on what students can expect from the creative writing program at Amherst College.
Among the things she mentions is their Writer-In-Residence and visiting writer programs. The Writer-In-Residence post, currently held by Shalya I. Lawson, is a six-year term and the latter is a two-three year term.
