Beverly Public Library

The library is governed by the Board of Library Trustees. The nine member board is responsible for formulating library policies. They recommend an annual budget to the Mayor and City Council and oversee the Library’s endowment funds. Trustees are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council for 3 year terms with 3 terms ending each January 31st. Citizens interested in serving on the Board should send a letter of interest and resume to the Mayor’s Office, City Hall, 191 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915-5887.
