Agawam Public Library

The mission of the Agawam Public Library is to provide materials and services to help residents of all ages and abilities obtain information meeting their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs.

Special emphasis is placed on supplying and teaching residents how to use materials in traditional formats as well as materials in formats using emerging technologies.
Practical access to all forms of media is provided at the library.

The library has a special mission to serve as a place for young children and their parents to discover the joy of reading and learning at the earliest possible age to enhance lifetime literacy.
