The Old Book Store

The Old Bookstore on Masonic Street, vellichor fills the heart and mind. And its owner, 66-year-old Henry G. Walz, fills the air with jokes and the shelves with thousands of titles you won’t find at Barnes & Noble. The Old Bookstore lives up to its name. Walz’s parents opened the business across the street from its current location in 1958, then moved to a space above where it operates now.
