17-Year-Old Becomes Boston’s First Youth Poet Laureate
Alondra Bobadilla, 17, of Fenway High School was named Boston’s first Youth Poet Laureate. She received the prestigious poetry award on Jan. 11, 2020.
Mayor Marty Walsh said, “Empowering Boston’s youth and encouraging them to share their creativity and talent is so important for the future of our city, and I’m confident that she will do an excellent job of helping to make that happen.”
